While music festivals are known for, obviously, their music, sometimes the attendees can put on just as much of a show as the artists themselves. Attendees use their style and fashion sense to create looks that draw just as much attention from others as the acts on stage. At music festivals people express themselves by wearing whatever makes them happy, whether it’s a bohemian style dress, a rock-and-roll grungy outfit, or neon and sparkly bras and underwear. At music festivals anything and everything goes, but people still look to the internet for outfit inspiration. Here are some of this summer’s top festival looks categorized by boho, grunge and casual.
Bohemian Style (Boho)
The key to a good boho outfit is a relaxes loose fitting top or dress paired with simple layered jewelry and boots or sandals.
Grunge
To rock a great grunge outfit, think of typical 90’s styles like denim-on-denim, plaid dresses and skirts and combat boots.
Casual
If boho and grunge aren’t your style, take a look at these casual outfits. Pick simple pieces like dresses or jean shorts and tanks or bralettes and accessorize with jewelry, sunglasses, bags and fashionable booties.

Of the styles you described, I would say that mine most closely resembles the casual…

I think there is a certain expectation/pressure for girls to be "artsy, bohemian, edgy" at music festivals, that you have to improvise. I'm not much of a fashion person to begin with, but when it comes to music festivals, I all of the sudden care about what I am wearing. I can recommend a great and cheap website that suits music festival wear, and it is called NastyGal.com. They are always having sales so for Firefly this summer, I did a bulk order of clothes. I was satisfied with…
